The Big Star Lake Association (BSLA) is a member-driven organization dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life around Big Star Lake.

Big Star Lake is a cherished natural resource that provides recreation opportunities and science beauty to residents and visitors alike. The BSLA is committed to preserving this valuable asset for future generations through a collaborative effort that involves environmental stewardship, community engagement and proactive management.

The efforts of the BSLA benefit all property owners. All property owners are invited and encourage to be members. The membership available to property owners is a "Regular Membership". Recognizing that may be individuals who do not own property but appreciate and enjoy Big Star Lake and all it offers, there is an "Associate Membership" available. The benefits of associate membership differ from a Regular Membership in that Associate Members do not have voting rights.
